About The Family Legacy Project
Your family doesn’t rise to your intentions. They rise to your standards.
We help parents and professionals build the energy, habits, and resilience to show up for the people who need them most.
Why we exist
Most people don’t fail because they don’t care.
They fail because the plans they’re handed don’t fit the life they’re actually living.
You know what you should be doing. But between work, kids, commutes, and everything else competing for your time, the extreme diet and the perfect workout plan fall apart by Wednesday. So you start over on Monday. Again.
We exist to close the gap between who you intend to be and how you actually show up. At work. At home. For yourself. For the people you love. Not with more motivation, but with standards and systems that hold up when life gets busy.
What we focus on
Four pillars. One legacy.
Nutrition
Real food, enough protein, and a plan that works for the whole family table. No extremes, no foods you’re banned from, no six-week fixes.
Training & Fueling
Strength, movement, and recovery that fit your schedule, plus how to fuel before and after so you have energy for the rest of your day.
Resilience
The mindset and mental toughness to keep going on the hard days, and to start again without guilt when life knocks you off track.
Family Legacy
Habits your kids see you live every day. The standards you set now become the example they carry forward.
How we coach
Built for real life, not ideal conditions.
- 1Standards over willpower.Motivation comes and goes. Simple daily standards, repeated long enough, become who you are.
- 2Systems that fit your life.Vacations, busy weeks, stress, and birthday parties are all part of the plan, not a reason it fails.
- 3Accountability that feels like support.Consistent check-ins and someone in your corner, so you’re never figuring it out alone.
- 4No shame. No extremes. No one-size-fits-all.You’re met where you are, whatever your goal: losing weight, maintaining, getting stronger, or simply being more consistent.
- 5We live it too.Every principle we coach is one we practice at home with our own family.
Our framework
The Legacy Forge
Lasting change doesn’t happen all at once. It’s forged in three stages, and every client, workshop, and community workout moves through the same arc.
Metanoia
The shift
A change of mind before a change of habits. We get honest about where you are, get clear on who you’re becoming, and trade “someday” for a decision.
Praxis
The practice
Belief put into action. Simple daily standards for nutrition, training, fueling, and recovery, repeated with accountability until they stop feeling like effort.
Hexis
The identity
What you practice becomes who you are. The habits hold on hard days, and the people who depend on you inherit the example.
Meet your coach
Hi, I’m Max.
At 35, I was tired, inconsistent, and running on empty. I knew what I should be doing. I just didn’t have a system that fit my life. I tried everything: starting over on Mondays, relying on motivation, chasing perfection. None of it lasted.
The change came when I stopped trying to be perfect and started building standards. Small habits. Simple structure. Daily actions repeated until they became part of who I am. Those standards rebuilt my energy, helped me lose more than 80 pounds, and changed how I show up as a husband, a father, and a leader.
That’s why I built The Family Legacy Project: to help people like me stop running on empty and build lives their families can depend on.

For the next generation
Resilience starts early.
The Day We Ran Out Of Ketchup
Our children’s book follows Peter, whose day goes sideways when the ketchup runs out, and who finds a creative way to adapt instead of giving up. We bring it to life in schools through The Ketchup Club: interactive assemblies, a live reading, and family fitness nights built around one rule. Never give up. It’s the Legacy Forge, kid-sized: Flip It, Try It, Own It.
Your legacy is built one day at a time.
You don’t need a perfect plan or a fresh Monday. You need a first step that fits your life. Let’s build it together.
Discipline Today. Legacy Tomorrow.
