Most organizations don’t struggle because their people lack talent.
They struggle because:
- Energy is inconsistent

- Standards are undefined
The result?
Burnout rises. Accountability drops. And high performers carry the load.

Designed for higher education professionals, student leaders, K–12 educators, administrators, student-facing teams, and mission-driven organizations, each experience translates resilience, personal responsibility, and performance science into practical systems people can actually apply immediately.
This isn’t motivation.
It’s training.
Before our habits can change, our thinking must.

Systems

About Max | Why Coaching
This workshop is led by a mindset, resilience and nutrition coach / higher education professional with over 15 years of experience supporting students and teams.
After completing an 80 lb personal transformation, I built a system focused on:
- Sustainable fat loss
- Habit-based nutrition
- Real-life accountability
Today, I help individuals and families stop negotiating with mediocrity and build a legacy of health, strength, and discipline.
About Max
I’ve spent over 15 years working in higher education supporting students, building programs, and leading teams through high-pressure, high-demand environments.
I’ve seen firsthand how capable people are… and how often they fall short of their potential not because they lack effort, but because they lack structure, guidance, and support.
At the same time, I was living that reality myself.
There was a period where I was showing up for everyone else, but not for myself. My habits were inconsistent, my energy was low, and I knew I wasn’t operating at the level I was capable of.
That changed when I made a decision to stop negotiating with the standards I knew I needed to live by.
Through disciplined nutrition, training, and daily habits, I completed an 80 lb transformation. Unlike what you may see online, what I did wasnt through extremes, but through a repeatable system built on consistency, accountability, and ownership.
That experience didn’t just change how I looked.
It changed how I showed up as a professional, a leader, and a father.
Why Coaching
Most people don’t need more information.
They need:
- A clear starting point
- A system they can follow
- Accountability to stay consistent
- Someone in their corner who understands both the challenge and the solution
That’s what coaching provides.
Because the truth is trying to figure this out alone is where most people get stuck:
- Overwhelmed by conflicting advice
- Starting and stopping over and over
- Doing “a little bit of everything” with no real progress
Coaching removes that guesswork.
It provides a structured, personalized approach that fits your life, whether you’re a student, a working professional, or a parent trying to balance it all.
My Approach
My coaching is built on a few core principles:
1. Simplicity Over Complexity
You don’t need extremes. You need clarity and consistency.
2. Habits That Fit Real Life
Your plan should work on your busiest days, not just when everything is perfect.
3. Accountability Drives Results
Consistency isn’t about motivation. It’s about having a system and support.
4. Lead Yourself First
When you take control of your habits, everything else improves, your energy, your confidence, and your ability to show up for others.
My Mission
I lead a high-performance coaching practice focused on helping individuals and families build a legacy of health, strength, and discipline.
This isn’t about quick fixes or short-term results. It’s about becoming the kind of person who:
- Follows through
- Sets a standard
- Shows up consistently for themselves and for the people who depend on them
Why This Workshop
This free workshop is an extension of that mission.
It’s designed to give students, staff, families and teams:
- A clear understanding of nutrition
- Practical tools they can apply immediately
- A starting point they can build from
Because when people are equipped with the right tools and support, they don’t just improve their health — they improve their entire trajectory.

WORKSHOPS FOR STUDENT LEADERS
RESILIENT LEADERSHIP: BECOMING THE LEADER YOUR CAMPUS NEEDS
This was initially developed for the Greek Community, but can be applied to any club, organization, or group(s)!
Leadership in college isn’t defined by a title. It’s defined by the habits you build when no one is watching.
Fraternity and sorority leaders often talk about values like brotherhood, scholarship, service, and leadership. But the real question they should be asking is this:
Do your daily actions reflect the letters you wear?
In this powerful and practical presentation, students learn how discipline, personal responsibility, and daily habits create resilient leaders and stronger chapter cultures.
Drawing from leadership lessons, personal transformation, and real experiences working with college students, Max introduces a simple framework that helps students stop waiting for motivation and start building the life and legacy they want.
Students will walk away with tools to take ownership of their personal habits, strengthen their leadership influence, and create the kind of culture their organization deserves.
Key Takeaways
• Why leadership culture begins with personal discipline
• How daily habits shape chapter reputation and success
• The difference between motivation and commitment
• How resilient leaders handle adversity and setbacks
• Practical strategies to lead your chapter by example
ACTIVITY MENU
Students leave with a practical system to take ownership of their leadership and goals. A custom presentation will be crafted based on the focused activity areas selected below:
“Vision Boards” – identify what matters most in chapter, academics, and life beyond college
“Time Audit” – evaluate habits – uncover routines that help or hold them back
“Discipline = Freedom” – simple accountability systems to stay consistent in health & wellbeing
“Power List” Development – How small actions compound into long-term impact
“Healthy Habits” – A deep dive into the habits that actually help you earn results and long-term results Calories; Protein; Water; Movement + Meal Prep Strategies & Supplement Education
WIN YOUR WAY TO THE TOP: THE “POWER LIST” FOR STUDENT LEADERS
Most students want to achieve big goals in college and beyond. Their greatest pathway to through leadership positions, career planning, networking, academic success, strong relationships, friendships, and a mind focused on personal growth.
But very few students have a system to make those goals become reality.
In this interactive workshop, students learn how to create a personal leadership operating system built around five daily non-negotiable actions.
Inspired by proven habit and discipline frameworks, the “Power List”, created by Andy Frisealla, has been reimagined through the lens of higher education theory to help students:
• eliminate procrastination
• build momentum through daily wins
• create habits aligned with their values and letters
Participants will build their own daily “Power List” tied directly to:
• personal growth
• chapter leadership
• academic success
• health and mental resilience
By the end of the session, students leave with a simple but powerful tool to help them win their day, every day.
Example: “Power List” for a Chapter Leader | One Intentional thing that…
1. Improves My Health
Workout, go for a walk, or complete a physical activity that strengthens my body and mental resilience.
2. Moves My Academics Forward
Study for an exam, complete an assignment early, review notes, or prepare for class.
3. Strengthens My Chapter
Check in with a member, plan a leadership initiative, support recruitment efforts, or help a brother/sister who needs it.
4. Builds My Future
Spend time developing my career by networking, improving a skill, applying for internships, or learning something new.
5. Develops My Mind
Read, listen to a leadership podcast, journal, reflect on my goals, or evaluate how I showed up as a leader today.
NOTE: The Power List is one of the simplest but most impactful systems I’ve ever used. FULL CREDIT goes to Andy Frisella for inventing it and sharing it for free on his MFCEO Podcast, episode 107.
BUILDING YOUR LEGACY ONE WIN AT A TIME
Don’t let your legacy stop at graduation.
It’s built every day through the choices you make.
This presentation challenges students to think beyond college and begin building a life of purpose and impact starting today.
Students will learn:
- How daily habits shape long-term legacy
- Why the best leaders focus on what they can control
- How to align personal actions with LIVED values
- How small wins compound into life-changing outcomes
THE SEPARATION FACTOR: WHY SOME STUDENTS BUILD EXTRAORDINARY LIVES, AND OTHERS DON’T
Two students can attend the same university, join the same organization, and have completely different futures.
The difference?
Personal ownership.
This presentation explores the mindset and behaviors that separate students who drift through college from those who use the experience to build powerful careers, networks, and lives.
Students will learn:
- Why personal responsibility is the ultimate advantage
- How to avoid the “failure to launch” trap after graduation
- How intentional habits shape identity and success
- How to maximize the college experience
Max’s Approach:
These keynotes and workshops are grounded in real-world experience, not theory.
With over 15 years in higher education, combined with a personal 80-pound transformation, Max has seen firsthand the gap between what people (and students) are capable of and how they actually show up day to day.
That gap isn’t about knowledge.
It’s about mindset, habits, and the systems people rely on under pressure.
This work is built on:
- Leadership under pressure – showing up with clarity and ownership when it matters most
- Personal transformation through discipline and systems – not motivation
- Coaching professionals, students and their families toward sustainable excellence – at work and at home
The goal is simple:
Help people become stronger, more capable, and more reliable… for the people who depend on them most.
