Pay yourself first.
We spend our days building community for students. Here’s a chance to build it for ourselves before the learning and connections begin.
Conference days often mean long days in chairs. Back-to-back sessions, hours of sitting, coffee standing in for energy, and by mid-afternoon most of us are running on fumes. This hour is a gift for you, a deposit in your bank of self-belief before the day, your students, or your institution asks anything else of you.
Join Max Quinn, M.Ed., for a 45-minute bodyweight workout before breakfast and conference programming begin. No equipment and no experience needed. Every movement scales up or down, so wherever your starting line is, you belong here. Whether you train every day, haven’t worked out in months, or are easing back in after time away, there’s a version of every movement built for you.
This isn’t a bootcamp. It’s a chance to meet colleagues, move with intention, and walk into the day with energy you gave yourself first.

Fuel the morning
The same recovery basics I coach every day, built for an early conference workout.
Before
A 7:00 AM workout usually means you haven’t eaten since dinner, and travel, dry hotel air, and long days can leave you low on fluids.
Start with a big glass of water when you wake up. If you like something in your stomach, a small, easy snack like a banana 20 to 30 minutes before is plenty. Training on an empty stomach is fine too. Go with what feels good.
After
Two things matter most once the work is done: protein to help your muscles repair, and carbohydrates to restore the energy you just used.
Pairing them supports recovery, and getting them in soon after matters most when you trained after an overnight fast, which is exactly what a 7:00 AM session is. Add fluids and you’re rehydrating at the same time.
Why this shake
We’ll mix 1st Phorm Phormula-1 Clear, a fast-digesting protein in a light, juice-style drink, with Ignition, a fast-digesting carbohydrate.
Together they deliver protein, carbs, and fluid in one easy drink that sits light, so you head into breakfast refueled and rehydrated without feeling full.
Phormula-1 contains milk (whey). Share any allergies or dietary needs on the form below. And if a shake isn’t for you, no problem at all. Water and a good breakfast will serve you well.
Save your spot
Come one morning or both. Registering helps us plan space and shakes. You’ll get a confirmation email right away, and the room details before the conference.
