Food is fuel. Standards make it stick.
Free, practical nutrition education for busy parents and professionals. No crash diets, no 30-day fads, no chasing perfection. Just the foundations, the recipes my family actually eats, and the tools I use every day.
You can’t outwork habits that don’t fit your life.
Most people don’t struggle with nutrition because they don’t care. They struggle because the plan they were handed was never built for a life with kids, meetings, practices, and a calendar that’s already full.
At 35, I knew what I “should” be doing. I just didn’t have a system that fit the life I was actually living. What changed everything wasn’t a secret diet. It was simple standards I could keep on the busy days, not just the easy ones.
That’s what this page is. The foundations I teach, the tools I use, and the recipes on repeat in our house. Take what helps. Leave what doesn’t.

Eating well and still dragging?
You’re eating clean, training, drinking your water… and still feel off. Sometimes it isn’t your macros. It’s your micros: the vitamins and minerals working quietly behind your energy, digestion, recovery, and mood.
It might be worth a look if you notice:
- Tired or foggy even after a full night’s sleep
- Digestion that feels off more days than not
- Cravings that feel hard to manage
- Brittle nails, dull skin, or thinning hair
- A shorter fuse or trouble focusing
The simplest fix: eat the rainbow.
Every color in fruits and vegetables brings different nutrients to the table. More color on the plate usually means more variety, and variety is the whole game with micros.
Here are my three daily non-negotiables:
- A smoothie loaded with different fruits, veggies, and toppings
- A colorful salad or veggie side with my meals
- Micro Factor, a daily micronutrient pack I use to fill the gaps when life gets chaotic
Magnesium & sleep: what it does (and doesn’t) do
Magnesium is a mineral your body uses in hundreds of processes, including the ones that help your nervous system shift into a calm, restful state.
It’s not a sleeping pill.
If you’re expecting to take a capsule and pass out, you’ll be disappointed. It’s about giving your body what it needs to wind down, recover, and stay asleep.
I’ve used magnesium every night for over three years, and it’s become one of my favorite parts of my wind-down routine. More relaxed evenings. Better recovery. Now my wife takes it too, and mixing up our nightly drinks together has become our little ritual.
If you’ve been struggling to wind down at night, start with the free guide. It breaks down what the research actually says, so you can decide if it’s right for you.

Collagen Coffee for Busy Parents & Professionals
Between drop-off, inbox floods, and the gym, I don’t have time for a complicated routine. This takes two minutes and travels in a mug.
